Niyi Awofeso (PhD, MBChB) was Senior Medical Officer and Project Director of the Kaduna State (Nigeria) Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program between 1990 and 1995. He is currently a Professor of Public Health at the University of Western Australia, and conjoint Professor of Publc Health at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
