Committee member and chair of the local Mentally Retarded Children's Society, involved in establishing a hostel for rural children attending the regional Special School. 15 years Medical Officer to the local Gaol. 3 years' G.P. manager of the Limestone Coast Division of G.P.'s project into the prevention of falls and falls injury in the regional elderly over 65.
