Conducted much research such as the relationship between socioeconomic inequalities and oral health among 15-years-old-adolescents in the Colombo District in Sri Lanka. Research interests are social determinants of population oral health and social inequalities in oral health, oral health in pregnancy. Presidential Awards Winner for Scientific Research Publications for 2007 & 2008.
