I am a senior lecturer in midwifery and a practising midwife in Dunedin. I am also a PhD student enrolled at the Centre for Online Health, University of Queensland. My research interests are currently mentoring, especially online mentoring. I am currently working with Blue Care, Queensland, running a RCT comparing e-mentoring with face-to-face mentoring and/or professional development and support. I am hoping to show that e-mentoring is a viable option for health professionals, especially those who work in rural and remote areas
