Dr Joy Penman holds bachelor and master's degree in Nursing and Pharmacy. She completed her doctoral research in palliative care. Joy teaches both science and nursing courses at the school of Nursing and Midwifery, University of South Australia and has extensively published in the area of mental health, nursing and palliative care. Joy has earned over AUD 350 K in external research funding for various collaborative projects.
