Toralf Hasvold is Professor of General Practice at The University of Tromsø, Norway. Chair of Rural Health Department.
He has been a General Practitioner for more than 20 years in rural areas. His research interest includes epidemiology of muscle and skeletal problems in general practice, use of telemedicine, health service research in primary health care and international/global health.
He works with health policy development in Botswana (Regional Medical Officer), WHO Public Health Advisor to the Ministries of Health in Armenia and Georgia, WHO concultant in Belarus. Collaboration projects with Northern State Medical University of Archangles, Russia. Visiting Professor at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia.
