Wei-Chen (Miso) Lee received her PhD in Health Services Research (HSR) in Texas A&M Health Science Center. Currently, Miso is the Health Disparities Analyst in charge of the literature review, data analysis, and reporting for the REAL (Race, Ethnicity, and Language) Data project under Texas Medicaid 1115 Waiver Program. She also works on the additional projects to support the mission of Center to Eliminate Health Disparities (CEHD) and the Division of Health Policy and Legislative Affairs (HPLA). In addition, she continuously attends the training, meeting, and volunteer work as a State-Certified Community Health Worker (CHW), Community Health Worker Instructor (CHWI), and Long-Term Care Ombudsman. Both doing research and serving in communities allow her to better understand the health issues and make a profound contribution in eliminating health disparities.
