Dr. Adam Baus is a Research Assistant Professor with the West Virginia University School of Public Health, Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences and Director of the Office of Health Services Research. His work focuses on quality of care and health disparities issues for high-risk, high-need populations. His work often centers on providing technical support and coaching to primary care and community-based partners to leverage clinical and other data sources for analytics, evaluation, quality of care improvement, and health services research needs. He serves as Principal Investigator on numerous, concurrent state-based and out-of-state funded efforts and serves as Co-Investigator for a variety of data-driven efforts focused on improving the quality of patient care and population health outcomes while reducing burden on the health care system.
