Dr. Alan Taylor served as Vice President of the Australasian Telehealth Society, 2016 to 2020 and has led the preparation of the international guidelines on telehealth services for the International Organisation for Standardisation. He has led numerous initiatives to improve access to healthcare using ICT and is currently researching the sustainability of telehealth services. He is the author of a Palgrave book on Australian and Brazilian telehealth services, “Healthcare Technology in Context: Lessons for Telehealth in the Age of COVID-19”.
